today is Theta's philanthropy: KAT WALK! its a fashion show that we put on to raise money for C.A.S.A.! everyone is really excited about it...but it will be super hectic.
i cant stop dreaming about clogs and summer haha.
after having a week off of school i just cant get back into the groove of things...i got so bored in class that i revamped our blog! if you dont like it you can make changes!
i tried to skype with you, but i think you were sleeping.

formal is on friday and i am freaking out! the theme is Theighties Prom...i will be wearing my mom's bridesmaid dress from 1989! oooohhh yaaa! of course i am gunna try and vamp it up with some fabulous jewelry and shoes. my sister thinks that i look like a christmas barbie, which i do, but i am gunna rock it and embrace it! madonna and cindy lauper are my inspiration...

HOW IS IT ALREADY APRIL?!?!?!?! What the HELLLLLL?!? 

April is totally fucking with my head right now. Its like, "1-2-3-4-5... Ready or not here i come"

Well I guess I just have to accept it and take it, head on. (Can't lie, it means summer is closer... and that means home, pool, beach, sun, tan, shopping again, adventures, and most importantly... YOU! ahhhhh soooo excited!)

I am excited to get my hair done... It would be way fun to get it done together. I NEVER said you would look bad with lighter hair. I just said I LOVE you with dark hair... How light were you thinking? Like this...

SOOO are you a freaking MIND READER?!?! Last night I made like 20 posts and I will post them progressivly... and one of them was all about clogs, slingbacks, and wedges... I am OBSESSED with them for the summer! I want like a bazillion pairs... I don't remember what date I set it to post... But check when its up... my favorite pair are these Gucci slingbacks... But i LOVE the Miu miu ones!!!


And our twenties are going to be freaking BOMB DIGGITY!!!! Get f*ckkking excited!!!! AHHHHHH

i smell summer

thankfully i came back to boulder and it was soooo nice! when i left to come home for break it was snowing, and we ended up getting like 2 feet of snow!!! i think its supposed to be in the high 70's tomorrow!! wo hoooo

i wish we could go get our hair done together!!!! i want my hair to be lighter sooo badddd!!! i know you think it will look bad but im gunna prove you wrong! haha

fyi...i WANT those MIU MIU print shoes, but the CLOGS!!!! have you seen them!? they are sooo cute! for some reason, i have a weird fetish for high heeled clogs...Jeffrey Campbell has a really cute pair out right now, in black and camel brown! i saw them im laguna, but i couldnt convince my mom to buy them for me :( i just think they will be really fun and practical during the summer with cut off shorts or dark skinny jeans!

i am having a little anxiety over turning 20! do you realize how much stuff you have to do in your 20's!!!??? graduate, get a job, get married, have kids, buy a house/car...the list goes on...but im ready for it all to start, considering that i am seriously over school right now!

i wanna skype asap! i will be home from 2-3:30 tomorrow (my time)

It Is Time For Sleep...

 I am sorry about your blue laundry. That is precisely why i do NOT do my own laundry...


i drank a cappuccino yesterday night and slept less than an hour last night. i was literally laying in my bed at 6:30 am saying WTF is going on!?! So i am going to sleep early tonight. I hope I am not a zombie tomorrow.


I am getting my hair colored and i am going to do something crazy. I dont know what yet, but something. I am not getting it cut, so that leaves me with color-craziness... I'm pretty sure I am going to put a streak in the front like Rihanna's, but in the red color on the right. I dont know yet, I will decide on the spot... The language barrier will be interesting... but I am going to a Toni and Guy, so it should be fine... Where is Jenni when i need her?!?! Anyway, I  want something fun and new for summer, s we will see... ! :)

blue blue blue BLUE...a;l#(*&$&@

yesterday, i started a white load of laundry before me and fam left to go the Newport Marriott for the day...i came home to BLUE clothes. long story short, i put ONE pair of jeand in the load, and didnt realize that the temp was set for warm/cold!!!! whoooops! so now practically all of my theta tank tops, and my FAVORITE Gap pocket tank, is a light blue. bennett tried to console me by telling me that he accidentally put a red shirt in his white basket, and all of his clothes turned pink...i didnt feel so bad after that haha! lesson learned! i will never be washing jeans with any of my white ever again!

i cant wait to hear all about your crazy weekend...you need to hear all about my semi crazy spring break!

oh! and i TOTALLY agree with making a crazy list idea! love it!

Party Like A ROCKSTAR....

I have had the most AMAZING weekend... I finally decided it was time get a little crazy...  soo I did! I have to  tell you about it! I need to talk to you... it has been forever! I'm not diggin' the separation. 

I want to come to Florence!!!!! But I want to come alone... I don't want to share that time with our mothers... sorry charlie... not that I don't love them, I just think we will have more fun with just us... 

I am glad you had fun with my mom... she IS pretty amazing. I love her a lot! 

I am soooooo excited for summer. Lets make a CRAZY list and do crazy weird things! Okay! Thanks... Love you!

I am not looking forward to this week... I have a huge paper due, as well as two detailed outlines for two other huge papers... I haven't done ANY work this semester, and now the professors are like SURPRISE, "school" time! So lame. 

Anywho... we have to get a lot of skyping time in this week before I leave for Ethiopia. Deal? DEAL!

slacker to the MAX

im soooo sorry about how bad i have been with the blog! the week before i came home was crazy busy...and i didnt have a lot to blog about! but being home was the perfect remedy that i needed. i was soooo over school and i just needed a break.

your day sounded amazing! i am sooo jealous! when we go to paris we will have to replicate that day! i told you mom, when we had lunch, that you, your mom, my mom, and maybe dante, should all come out to Florence for my 21st bday! wouldn't that be sooo fun?! i think so ahaha. your mom and i were so bummed that you werent at lunch with us! you are seriously sooo lucky to have your mom. she is THE easiest person to talk to!

so far, break has just been really relaxing. i have no updates regarding our convo that we had over skype, i just ended up going to my friends house in dana point and he was just being lame and not texting me. and you know who is in newport and wants to hang...DONT WORRY im staying strong! hahah

skyping you yesterday made me miss you terribly, but it made me SUPER excited for summer! we seriously need to make a list of all the stuff that we want to do! number 1 on my list is BE TAN! haha

im dreading going back to school because i have to look forward to writing a 10-12 research paper, formal, my birthday, and easter...WOOF!! waaaayyy too much stuff in one week! the whole month of april is crazy! i have soooo much stuff to do for the theta and school...and i just have summer on my mind

Slow Jukin'!!!

So, today I had an amazing day. I went to french class, went to an open air market and bought so much! I got strawberries, Portuguese beans (my favorite ever!), sausage, and a falafel... it was all delicious! Then we went to Angelina's, which is an amazing restaurant, across the street from the Tuilleries, that is FAMOUS for it's amazing desserts and liquid-chocolate bar- hot chocolate! It is beyond amazing. Then headed over to the Eiffel Tower, with a few bottles of Rose Chamgpagne in tow, and just laid on the grass and listened to music and hung out... It was amazing. I went with 6 other girls on the program and had the GREATEST time! I wish you were here to experience all this with me!


I am in a really happy positive place in my life. I am loving every second of it!

JEALOUS jealous JEALOUS!

Look, it's you and me! (hahaha... can you guess which one I am?!)

So I know that my last post said I was a blog failure, then I didn't do anything about it. BUT this time I will hold TRUE to my statement. I WILL do better! I am home for a substantial amount of time (it is sad that I consider 10 days a substantial amount of time to be in one place without traveling) before I leave for Ethiopia, so I will blog EVERYDAY! And so shall you (or as often as you can manage)...


The title of this blog is "JEALOUS jealous JEALOUS" because I am, well, JEALOUS! You are having lunch with my mom tomorrow, and that is just simple not fair, nor okay with me. ;)


I want to be in San Clemente right now having lunch with you and my mom! All I can do is wait and dream for the summer... I will be home in less than 2 months. HOW SCARY IS THAT?!?! I will be EATING my words when that time comes and will be so sad to leave this glorious city... country... continent...


But until then, I will make the most of this fabulous place... Enjoy lunch and my mom!

Spice Up Ya Lifeeee

Tonight Theta had a Sushi and Karaoke sisterhood and this little sushi restaurant near the house! The theme was Spice World and I already told you that I was going to be Sporty Spice. Some girl came up to me and asked me if I was Scary Spice. I said "NO?!, I'm Sporty, why would you think that?" and she said, "because your wearing a jacket that says Ethiopia. I thought you were like trying to be black." hahahahahah. Anyways, I got up with my friend Bita and belted out "C'est La Vie" by Bwitched...classic! We both ate sooo much sushi that we thought we were going to puke because were bouncing up and down the whole time that we were singing.

When we left it was raining and literally within 10 minutes of being home I got completely congested and I just felt really sick, you must have given me something over skype! I need this invention because my nose won't stop running!!!!!

i totally agree that we have both been slacking on the blogging...i have been slacking a little bit in life as well! the thought of school just recently kicked in...just in time for midterms! joy.
i am soooo jealous that your parents and cameron are coming to visit you in PARIS!!! jealous x 1000!!! you better skype me while they are visiting...or at least leave me a facebook video!
i wish i had an interesting life story at the moment, but i dont, because the single life of Devon Luke is quite boring. i am hoping that by sending out my positive energy in the universe i might have better luck with boys, school, and life in general haha. i already told you that i have a potential bf in mind, its just a matter of him finding out that we are supposed to date. shit could get a little awkward haha. i did have the cup lotto today in throwing and i got some really cool cups! i will have to take pictures of them and post them. they turned out to be way more abstract (in terms of the glazes) then i expected. we are in the process of firing a set of bowls so i am reallllyyyy excited about those. our teacher just assigned us our next project and i am dreading it! we have to make 4 pouring vessels that mimic vessels from the 19th and early 20th century...they have to be 10 inches in some direction. i am not looking forward to it...definitely a challenge!

the weather has been soooo sunny and warm for the past two days...and i hope it stays because i am sick of the snow! im sure you feel the same way!
